The Sargent 281UO surface mounted closer is designed to meet the needs of facilities maintaining “cast iron” specifications, the 281 Series Powerglide® Cast Iron Door Closer features  a heavy-duty one-piece cast iron body for superior strength and wear resistance. With front-facing valves, the 281 series can be easily installed and maintained—for interior and exterior applications.

O - Standard arm for regular or top jamb mounting.
