The Cal-Royal OBSTRK open back strike for use with MR7700 series mortise exit devices is used with pairs of doors when one door has hardware that latches into the other door AND the other door has hardware that operates independently. The Cal-Royal OBSTRK open back strike has no back and is for use with double doors without a coordinator.
